Best Season In L1 Belongs To Marquis
Saturday, November 8th , 2025
The manager of the Dayton Grizzlies said he thinks Zacarías Marquis is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2025 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the League 1 Outstanding Batter Award.
His winning campaign featured a .333 batting average and a .409 on-base percentage this year. In 156 games he piled up 203 hits, 45 doubles, 10 triples, 16 home runs, 70 RBIs and 112 runs scored.
He received 16 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Grayson Currall of the Brooklyn Knights finished second in voting, while Andrew Dickens of the Cornfield Axemen finished third.
